It was amazing to attend the third annual Music by Women Festival at Mississippi University for Women! The festival directed by Dr. Julia Mortyakova featured numerous concerts and lectures all in celebration of the contributions of women composers, past and present! I had the honor to meet incredible performers and composers including Dr. Elizabeth Sullivan who performed my work for solo oboe “Disputations” last year at the second annual Music by Women Festival.
