Today was very special to me. I was officially featured as Louisiana Music Teachers Association (LMTA) 2019 Commissioned Composer at the LMTA Conference at Louisiana State University and had the premiere of the commissioned work “Perceptions, for Flute and Clarinet” - funded by LMTA and MTNA - by excellent performers Shanna Reid Drescher, flute, and Victor Drescher, clarinet. I am very grateful for this amazing opportunity and huge milestone in my career. Many thanks to Dr. Al Benner, the Commissioned Composer Chair, for his very kind support. Also, special thanks to Shanna and Victor Drescher for their commitment and dedication and for bringing life into Perceptions. Congratulations to Constantinides String Quartet (Mireille Lopez, violin; Perla Del Rocío Fernández López, violin; Christopher Lowry, viola; and Caio Alves Diniz, cello) for a wonderful concert at LSU School of Music on October 3, 2019. Great success by super talented musicians! Very glad to be part of this wonderful concert with my work for string quartet Shadows in Chase. Thank you very much, guys!
