I am very excited to announce that I have been selected as a finalist for the Composition ‎Competition at the second annual Darkwater Women In Music Festival. This is a festival that ‎celebrates women in music through papers, panels, and performances to be held on March 6-7 at ‎the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. The selected compositions including my work for ‎flute and clarinet “Perceptions” will be performed by Catchfire Collective in a live concert at the festival and first, ‎second, and third prizes will be given after the performance.
